Depression in children & adolescents is quite different from the normal everyday “blues”. When symptoms last for a short period of time it might simply be a case of the everyday “blues”. But if you notice symptoms lasting more than two weeks and it begins to interfere with regular daily activities, family time and school life you may want to consult with your pediatrician to see if depression is a possibility.
We can provide most psychotherapy treatments in-house. We begin with a mental health screening, then provide education and awareness of the issues affecting the child. Our on-staff professionals assist with medication management and provide a variety of treatment modalities to get kids back on track to a normal and happy childhood.
