The Culture: Voice and Trust
At the Post Trauma Institute, we have created a value-driven caring culture that insures your success. Six values describe the cultural environment of the employee and patient experience in our offices: Voice, Trust, Creativity, Motivation, Synergy, and Heart. Let’s talk for a moment about our values of Voice and Trust and how they promote and affect successful treatments.
Empowerment is our staff giving voice to patients. By listening to patients, they become active participants in their treatment and take responsibility for their own health. Successful outcomes, which include positive self-esteem and achieving goals, help our patients gain control over their life and give them a sense of hope for the future.
Our patients learn to share their opinions and respect the opinions of those around them, which lead to the creation of a positive community of friends, colleagues, and loved ones. Listening to the voice of one another is especially important these days, in a time of extreme stress and deep divisions in this country. We find out there is more that unites us than divides us.
Giving voice is an essential step in gaining trust. A trusting environment is a safe place in which ideas and opinions can be shared openly and with respect. Our staff work hard to earn your trust by believing patients can be great and supporting them in achieving success through treatment.
Learning to believe in and support others allows our patients to maintain a stronger community of friends, colleagues, and loved ones. Creating a culture of trust helps us maintain better relationships, even in stressful situations, at home and at work. When we support those around us as much as you can, they will be inspired to provide the same support and trust for us.
Ours is a patient-driven approach. From initial evaluation to treatment and follow-up, we are by your side every step of the way. Embracing these values is yet another way we will help you develop mental health goals and then we guide you to the outcomes you desire, so you can live life on your own terms.
